Public pronouncement "Globalization and dialogue among cultures" Tbilisi, 1st October John 5. As if He, at the same time, took on all positive activities, which were done by angels both in paganism and in Judaism. Also, Christianity performs the best traditions of an ancient religion. The Evangel about the Good Samaritan tells about it J 4. And this is preparatio evangelica the preparation of paganism to accept Christianity.
Due to Plato in Christians' awareness develops the doctrine of Logos, transcendental source of existence as well as the science about ideas, which developed as early as in the first century before Christ. Christianity also adopts the doctrine of Stoics about the Divine Providence and about the power of God over the world. The development of these ideas in Christianity is extremely interesting.
The idea of unification of the whole mankind is not something new in history. However, in the 20th century this idea becomes completely different. Unfortunately, over the years from among Orthodox churches only Greek Church had the possibility of cooperation in the act of unification of Europe. They wrote in their message: "Among huge possibilities as well as dangers, which refer to the contemporary mankind, Orthodox churches welcome each step which leads to conciliation.
Owing to this our Church becomes an important positive element in the life of unified Europe". Zeus tore Europe on the edges of Phoenicia and took it to the Continent, which derived its name form it.
The question that can be asked is as follows: "Does Europe end on the Bosphorus Strait? Isaac Syrian, who was an Arab and belonged to the church, which was then active in China, India and Tibet play an important role.
One can also ask about pre-Chalcedonian Churches, which also exerted their influence on the development of Christianity, and their believers live all over the world nowadays.
How to refer to Irkutsk, Vladivostok, Tbilisi, especially Tbilisi, since the history as well as cultural and civilizational development of Georgia are older, much older than that of other countries? Nowadays, the world, not only Europe, strive for unity. About unity one can say only when it is not "Europe factory" or "world factory". In fact, this model refers to the entire world: "Today the builders of Europe will be joined by new people who are coming from different Europe, which is also Europe and was born from Hellenic Christianity.
For the nations of this Europe, language, culture, civilization are for everyone their home in the world". To achieve unity one should above all unite intelligence and heart.
The heart of unified Europe should be full man, not only homo oeconomicus, but also homo adorans. Only then can man protect himself from despair. Over the centuries Christianity was at the heart of Europe. Now this place is occupied by politics and economics. Therefore, the presence of Christianity and other religions in the process of unification of the world is obligatory.
Christianity cannot be beyond processes of the contemporary world. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bondman nor freeman, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, certainly you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise" GA 3. The dialogue of cultures becomes, at the same time, the dialogue of cults-religions.
Consequently, the dialogue of cultures-religions becomes obligatory for the future of the world. It no longer goes only about Ecumenical Movement among Christians themselves, but about the dialogue of different religions. Only political methods or economics development are absolutely insufficient.
It may be assumed that the first step in this direction will belong to Christians. However, without this step the future of mankind seems to be dark. Like Abraham, one has to leave the existing situation and move towards the unknown future to find the promised land. Old Testament, and New Testament, and Koran are full of appeals for unity. In this sense the role of Churches and the whole Christianity in the dialogue of cultures is important for the whole mankind.
It can be expected that Christianity will respond to this challenge of the contemporary world. Europejski Rok Data publikacji:. Projekty kulturalne.
